It’s that time of year!

It’s been a while…so for those friends and family who don’t get to see Izzy much, here’s some recent pics and fun we’ve had!  (I honestly have all these aspirations to blog more frequently, but these days if I get a moment to myself, it seems all I want to do is pick up a book I’m reading or take a little rest!) So anyways…

Here are some pics from Thanksgiving, we had a great time with my family.  Poor little Iz got really sick with a bad viral infection 2 days before we left, so that was a bummer because she just wasn’t her chipper self and she wasn’t really eating…which I was super bummed about because she would have LOVED the Thanksgiving meal!  :(

This was pretty much her expression over the course of 4 days, poor little thing!

Then we’ve been playing with some friends recently too.  Here is Iz with my friend Molly’s little boy Shep, don’t they look festive in there Christmas shirts! It has been really fun reconnecting with Molly.  Our mom’s were friends before they had both of us, and we used to get together a couple times a year and play, then as we got older we didn’t see them as often, but our mom’s are still really good friends.  So,of course when we found out we were moving to Austin our mom’s were so excited and wanted us to reconnect…well, come to find out we live about 4 miles from one another!  So it has been a lot of fun getting together with her and her boys over the past couple of months.

Last week, my new dear friend Katie and I put Izzy and her little boy Caden in the car made the little trek to Brenham to meet my mom for an afternoon of lunch and shopping.  We had a great time! Brenham has the cutest little downtown.

Caden is the BEST little shopper!  I mean seriously, just so laid back and completely content being strolled around! Iz on the other hand is wanting in and out of her stroller… snacks… reaching for things when she’s in her stroller, etc, etc…but Caden, totally chill!  Was a fun day!

   What cute pics! Fun day in Brenham!! I love it! I am going to try and steal them off of your blog and post on mine! I love Izzy’s ornament shirt… SO cute!!
